Event Rent is operated by Rick Martin and Nairn Illingworth.

They started the business in 2011. The company grew out of a need to service their own catering requirements, as the catering company grew so did their inventory.

The obvious direction was to go develop a local event hire company with a personal touch and that is what they aimed to achieve.
They want to offer a friendly, attentive and personal service orientated business.

The small but busy company is constantly working with chefs planning those iconic Marlborough events in the vineyards, Mum’s organising a 21st or excited brides wanting to get everything in place for their big day. They want to fulfil specific needs, large or small they are happy to spend time to help their clients make the event or party easy to organise, enjoyable and memorable.
