Finding good staff and volunteers is especially important when organising events as they are often the people who come into contact with participants first. 

Choosing the right person for each role can be made easier if you create clear job descriptions. When the person undertaking the role has a clear understanding of each role at it’s responsibilities, they can be given a role that is more suitable to their skills.   

When contracting people to your event and working with volunteers, it is also important to understand your legal responsibilities.
