‘Te Pou Pānui’ signs to help promote Rotorua events

Advertising stand promoting three events on in Rotorua

The Rotorua Daily Post published an article today highlighting the construction of new event signs in Rotorua, which have been designed to help in the promotion of events.

In a flyer sent to local organisers, Rotorua Lakes Council say that Te Pou Pānui are a way for event organisers to safely and legally advertise their events without having to apply for individual resource consent or risk breaching traffic regulations.

The signs are to be positioned at the following points:

  • Corner of Fairy Springs Road & Kawaha Point roads
  • Corner of Lake Road and Ranolf Street
  • Fenton Street
  • Te Ngae road – Opposite the entrance to Puaranga Park
  • Corner of Tarawera road and Longmile road
  • Old Taupo road – Centennial Park

Organisers can book a space on the signs by emailing Council at community.events@rotorualc.nz

Each corflute Pou Pānui is portrait 1200mm x 1600mm in size and the pricing ranges from $45 depending on if event organisers are community or commercial, how long is required (2 week minimum – 6 week maximum) and if printing and design services are required.

All corflute Pou Pānui must be according to specifications, reviewed prior to printing and installed/removed by specialist contractors all booked through Council.

‘Te Pou Pānui’ will also promote Rotorua Nui, Rotorua Lakes Council’s new website for advertising what’s on in Rotorua.
